Kick-off of the MetaFin Brownbag Seminar Series

On Thursday, 18 September 2025, the MetaFin Brownbag Seminar Series kicked off with a presentation by Klaus Buddeberg and Johanna Husting from the University of Hamburg (Fin-Prak-PIAAC project). In their presentation, they provided insights into numeracy and financial practices among different population groups in Germany. The PIAAC study served as the data basis. This was followed by a lively discussion and many questions about further details. With over 50 participants, the launch of the event series was very well received by the research community.
