The project

MoTIf

The MoTIf joint project (Modelling and transfer of content and quality criteria for programme planning in adult financial education) is concerned with the programme planning, practical provision and quality assurance of adult financial education.

It addresses the central challenges of the national financial education strategy:

• Reaching target groups, qualifying teaching staff and developing ethically and educationally sound educational programmes to better prepare the population for financial decisions.
• The development of content and quality criteria that serve as practical guidelines for programme planners,
  Bildungseinrichtungen sowie politische Akteur*innen dienen.

MoTIf uses findings from the preliminary project ÖkonoBi_EBWB_Pro and develops content and quality criteria for target group-oriented programme planning in financial education. To this end, the project combines qualitative and quantitative surveys and offers workshops and product clinics - together with educational practitioners - to test and further develop these criteria. These are then disseminated in professionalisation programmes, among other things.

Cooperation with universities, adult education organisations and the Learning Region ensures a broad-based transfer of knowledge.
